Pale Folklore (1999)
Pale Folklore is the debut album of the American band Agalloch. It features an eclectic mix of acoustic folk reminiscent of Scandinavian bands such as Ulver, doom and black metal-esque riffs, growled, clean, whispered, and shrieked vocals, and a production style and atmosphere that borrows heavily from black metal. Lyrical themes are traditional of death, black and folk metal, focusing mainly on depression, nature, folklore, and the supernatural. It features the roots of a post-rock influence which is greatly expanded on in Agalloch's second studio album, The Mantle.

The mantle 2002
The Mantle is the second album by American folk/doom metal band Agalloch. The album was released on August 13, 2002 by The End Records.

Taking a more mellow tone than Agalloch's first full-length, Pale Folklore, The Mantle still contains heavy electric guitar riffs as well as acoustic guitar portions. Quite preeminent as well are long and melancholic cello sequences such as on the instrumental track "The Lodge".

On March 28, 2005, Profound Lore Records released a double LP version of The Mantle on grey-colored vinyl. Limited to 500 copies, it also featured exclusive cover artwork.

1. A Celebration For The Death Of Man...
2. In The Shadow Of Our Pale Companion
3. Odal
4. I Am The Wooden Doors
5. The Lodge
6. You Were But A Ghost In My Arms
7. The Hawthorne Passage

Ashes against the Grain (2006)
Ashes Against the Grain is an album by American metal band Agalloch under the Brooklyn, New York-based label, The End Records. It is Agalloch's third full-length release, four years after the critically acclaimed The Mantle.

Before the release, the track "Falling Snow" was made available in its entirety on the label's website and on the band's MySpace page. Reports indicate a version of the album was leaked on the web in May 2006.

A pre-release review in the July 2006 issue of Toronto-based Exclaim! magazine described the new album as a "departure and an extension" from the band's previous work:

The songs tend to move with restraint, as Agalloch's characteristic threads of black metal, folk and ambient sounds coalesce with more doom and art rock.

Three versions of the album were released: a slipcase edition, a deluxe wooden box version (limited to 500 copies) and a vinyl version (limited to 1000 copies).

The vinyl version was released on March 2nd, 2007 through The End Records' Infinite Vinyl Series. It was pressed in three different colors:

* A clear/orange splatter edition limited to 200 copies.
* A black edition limited to 400 copies.
* A clear orange edition limited to 400 copies.

All three vinyl editions include an exclusive bonus track, Scars Of The Shattered Sky (Our Fortress Has Burned To The Ground)
