Harmageddon is the second single by Apocalyptica. It is the first song ever composed by them. It is was added to their Amplified // A Decade of Reinventing the Cello album.
Music Video
It starts with a dark room with a tanned floor and two windows, one shining white and the other grey, with a bow in the air and a chair in place. Out of thin air Antero Manninen appears dressed as a classical composer with his cello sitting on the chair, and he gets up to pick up another bow in the air. It then shoots to him playing it, then out of focus with Eicca Toppinen playing as well with the bow reappearing in the air. Next it shows Eicca writing.

Inquisition Symphony
nquisition Symphony is the second studio album by the Finnish cello rock band Apocalyptica. It was released September 22, 1998. The album had branched from their previous effort and contains four Metallica covers; "For Whom the Bell Tolls", "Nothing Else Matters", "Fade to Black", and "One". Three more bands are covered on this album; Faith No More, Pantera, and Sepultura. Three compositions are originals from Apocalyptica bandleader Eicca Toppinen: "Harmageddon", "M.B.", and "Toreador". Max Lilja did the arrangements for "One".

Cult is Apocalyptica's third album, released in 2000 with a special-edition released in 2001 containing an extra disc. This album also saw a small trend starting in their single releases, as both "Hope" and "Path" have second versions called "Path Vol. 2" and "Hope Vol. 2" with lyrics sung by Sandra Nasic and Matthias Sayer, respectively. Here, Apocalyptica also started using distortion effects much more boldly and frequently. There are some versions of the first release with "Path Vol. 2" as the first track and "Path" as the fourteenth.

The song thematizes child-abuse through clerics. Corey Taylor sings from the perspective of a man who has been abused by a priest when he was a child and now confronts his torturer.
