Tales of Ithiria
Tales of Ithiria is the fourth studio album by the German symphonic metal band Haggard. Previously known under its work title A dark winter's tale,[1] this album breaks the band's habit of writing about historical characters and events. Instead, it tells a fictional, medieval-themed story written by Haggard's songwriter Asis Nasseri.[2]

Progress
So far, two videos have been released on the band's official website, the first one on January 17, 2007 and the second one on January 24, 2007 showing the studio's premises and giving a small preview of the album's content.

The album's release was slated for June 29, 2007, but is now postponed indefinitely as announced on the publisher's website on July 29, 2007:

"Sadly, we can't tell you anything real new about the release date of the new Haggard album "Tales of Ithiria", except that it almost definitely won't happen this year anymore".[3]

Further inquiry showed that the new album can't be expected before March 2008.[4]
