Forever Autumn - 1999
Forever Autumn is the fourth studio effort of the Gothic Metal band Lake of Tears. It was released in 1999. Although it has a mellower sound and a sorrowful and melancholic feel, compared to both previous and future releases, this is one of the band's most fan appreciated recordings. It also features Christian Saarinen on keyboards as an official member, though his time with Lake of Tears was quite short because after the release the band broke up and 2003's reunion brought the band in today's line-up, without an official keyboard player.

The Neonai - 2002
The Neonai is the fifth studio release of the Gothic Metal band Lake of Tears. It was released in 2002, being finished off by Daniel Brennare alone, with little help from the other band members and was hastily released to honor the contract with the label. Practically, the band was on a temporary hiatus (since 2000) and Brennare focused on what he thought to be easily produced and mastered, thus the album features a drum machine, a more minimal guitar approach and heavy use of keyboards and electronic equipment. Ironically, it brought up some of the band's most memorable tunes, although they differ from the "classic" Lake of Tears sound and feel.

Moon and Mushrooms (2007)
Moons and Mushrooms is the seventh studio release of the Gothic Metal band Lake of Tears. It was released in 2007, featuring Magnus Sahlgren on lead guitar as an official member (although he played guitar as a guest artist since 1999). Unlike the previous album, this release makes heavy use of guitars, having a lesser electronic sound. It's Gothic Metal with progressive influences and a touch of psychedelia, making it somewhat similar to the band's A Crimson Cosmos album, although the actual genre of this music group has always been the subject of debate.
