Symphony of Enchanted Lands II - The Dark Secret is an album released by Rhapsody in 2004. Many have been confused by its title, as it's not a sequel to "Symphony of Enchanted Lands" but is the first chapter of a new saga, "The Dark Secret Saga". Although not a sequel, the new saga is set in the same world as "Symphony of Enchanted Lands", and thus it often alludes to occurrences from the "Symphony of Enchanted Lands". It is a concept album dealing with a the resurgence of the Seven Black Books of the Demon king Nekron.

Christopher Lee, a famous Hollywood actor (The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars), provides the narration throughout this album. He is also a guest singer in the single version of the song "Magic of the Wizard's Dream".

2006 Triumph or Agony

Triumph or Agony is a Rhapsody of Fire album released in Europe on 25 September 2006. It is the first album that the band released after their name change. The album leaked on 8 August, and was released on the internet shortly after.

Triumph or Agony features a live 70 piece orchestra and choir and was again self-produced by guitarist/songwriter Luca Turilli and keyboardist/songwriter Alex Staropoli with assistance from co-producer Sascha Paeth. The album also features an array of guest narrators and character actors, including several recruits from the London theatre scene, actress Susannah York of the Superman film series and a return appearance by renowned actor Christopher Lee, as the all-knowing ‘Wizard King’.

The cover art is done by artist Jeff Easley famous for his work on the Dungeons & Dragons line of products.

2001 Rain of a Thousand Flames

Rain of a Thousand Flames is an EP released by Rhapsody in 2001. It tells a part of the Emerald Sword Saga, but it is a parallel episode that is not essential to the story, taking place shortly after Dawn of Victory. While the Warrior of Ice is away, Akron uses the newly acquired Emerald Sword to ravage the land. The album was released at a reduced price and is considered a stop gap between the band's main releases.

1994 Land of Immortals
Lands of Immortals was released in 1994 when the symphonic power metal band Rhapsody of Fire was still known as Thundercross. This demo may have helped Rhapsody obtain their first contract with Limb Music Products & Publishing.

The album's second song, "Warrior of Ice", and third song, "Land of Immortals", were co-written by founding members Luca Turilli and Alex Staropoli. All four songs from the demo album were re-recorded and re-released on the album Eternal Glory.

Eternal Glory was a demo released in 1995 by the symphonic power metal band Rhapsody, at the time known as Rhapsody.

Four of the tracks on this album re-appear on Rhapsody of Fire's later albums. "Warrior of Ice" re-appears on the album Legendary Tales as titled, while "Invernal Fury" becomes "Rage of Winter" and "Alive and Proud" become "Lord of Thunder". "Holy Wind" re-appears on the album Symphony of Enchanted Lands with the title "Riding the Winds of Eternity" and the song "Eternal Glory."

2005 The Magic of the Wizard's Dream

The Magic of the Wizard's Dream, released in 2005, is Rhapsody's fourth single. The song featured first appeared in the album Symphony of Enchanted Lands II: The Dark Secret. However, Christopher Lee only performed as a narrator and did not sing, despite wanting to. The band then decided to meet again in December 2004 to re-record "The Magic Of The Wizard’s Dream" with Lee and Fabio Lione singing a duet.
Mr. Lee has command of over 12 languages, therefore it was not a problem to record the song in four different languages: English, German, French and Italian. A video of the English version was shot by director Neil Johnson in High Definition. It featured a 40-piece orchestra and a 20-piece choir.
In addition to the four language versions the band also produced two brand new studio tracks, the fast "Autumn Twilight" and the slower and traditionally influenced "Lo Specchio D’Argento" whose appear on the digipack version.
